Music Major for a Day
Join us on Monday, October 9th, 2023!
Please join us for a day of classes at the UNO School of Music!
The first wave of registration is now closed due to a large turnout.
Please check back often as registration will reopen if new spots become available.
Music Major for Day is open to 9-12 grade students who are considering a major in music. Students will:
· Attend college classes.
· Learn about different music degree options and careers in music.
· Listen to UNO student performances and project demonstrations.
· Take a private lesson (for interested students). Limited spots based on availability.
· Sit in on ensemble rehearsals (for interested students).

Deadline to register is Monday, October 2. Completion of registration by a parent/guardian is required for students to attend.
Cost: Free. Lunch will be provided.
Detailed information, including parking information, will be sent to registered students after the October 2 deadline.
Students may be dropped off at the Strauss Performing Arts Center for the day. Parents and teachers are also welcome to attend sessions and classes.
