UNO Opera Theatre
UNO Opera offers performance opportunities and training in opera and opera theatre. UNO opera offers a fully staged performance open to all voice majors and non-voice majors. UNO opera productions include one-act operas, condensed/scenes from larger operas, English and foreign language operas, and modern to period-style productions. An audition is required to participate and be cast. UNO opera works in collaboration with UNO Concert Choir, UNO String Orchestra, and UNO Theatre and Design.
Season announcements and auditions take place during the fall term. Students will register for UNO Opera workshop under MUS2740-011:Chamber Music.
This course is offered during spring term and meets on Fridays from 1-4 pm.
