Thank you for your interest in attending an event at the Strauss Performing Arts Center
With the exception of open parking times (see below), parking permits are generally required across campus. However, Parking Services relaxes ticketing policies during School of Music events in certain designated areas. These areas vary by event, so please check specific parking options under that event on our Concerts & Events page
There is open parking on campus (no permit required) after 7:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday, after 5:00 p.m. Friday and during weekends.
You will receive a ticket if you park in a reserved, metered, or handicap stall without a proper permit, or next to curbs, drives, or fire lanes, as these are designated for emergency vehicles only.
Handicap parking can be found in Lot E (just west of Strauss), Lot R (between College of Public Affairs & Community Service and Allwine Hall), and Lot M (south of the Criss Library).
For more information, please contact Parking Services via their website or 402.554.7275.
