The award-winning Weber Fine Arts Building (WFAB) exudes creativity and invites one to explore art, theatre and creative writing. It has an almost medieval quality to its pinnacled towers, rusticated stone walls, and curved brick spine. The interior design with windows into studios and other classrooms helps build a sense of community among practicing artists and scholars.
WFAB is also home to the UNO Art Gallery, a vital cultural and educational forum for the study, contemplation and critical analysis of works of art.
Sculpture and ceramics studios are housed in a separate building right across the street.
The College of Communication, Fine Arts and Media, which the School of the Arts is a part of, offers more than $300,000 in scholarships each year.
