Graduate Student Workshops
A wide variety of workshops relevant to graduate students. Topics include citation tools, research techniques, presentation tips, and thesis and dissertation assistance.

Office of Research and Creative Activity
Secures research grants and other funding opportunities, and partners with expert faculty mentors to help advance knowledge.

Graduate Research and Creative Activity
A grant of up to $5,000 per student in support of faculty-mentored research or creative activity.

Annual Student Research and Creative Activity Fair
Graduate students from all disciplines showcase their research and creative activity in the form of oral presentations, performances, exhibits, and posters.

University Committee on Research and Creative Activity
Funds up to $500 per graduate student for project-related materials, supplies, and operating costs related to the conduct of student research and creative activity.

Career Services
Résumé/CV reviews, practice interviews, career exploration, job search strategies, and oversees campus student employment

UNO Writing Center
One-on-one feedback and coaching for writers on any subject at any stage of the writing process, including master’s and doctoral level projects

Speech Center

Fee-supported services offered by Criss Library for use with your MavCARD or guest print cards.

Graduate Study Carrels
Carrels are assigned on a per-semester basis, and eligible users may renew them for subsequent semesters.

Archives and Special Collections
Working on a paper, film, local history project, book, or another creative project, UNO Libraries’ Archives and Special Collections has the historical materials and expertise required.

Creative Production Lab
3D printing, laser cutting, large format printing, and video/audio services, with individual project consultations available.
