UNO Earns 8 AMA Pinnacle Awards

From groundbreaking research to life-changing student experiences, the University of Nebraska at Omaha’s (UNO) stories are resonating beyond campus.

➡️ What’s new: UNO's Office of Strategic Marketing and Communications (MarComm) brought home eight awards from the 2026 American Marketing Association (AMA) Omaha Chapter Pinnacle Awards. The awards haul included five Pinnacle Awards—the competition’s highest honor—for work highlighting UNO research, student experiences, community engagement, and academic opportunities.

💡 Why it matters: The annual Pinnacle Awards recognize outstanding marketing, advertising, communications, and public relations work across the Omaha metro area.

  • The recognition reflects a strategy that advances the university’s enrollment, recruitment, and retention goals while elevating its reputation in Omaha and across the country.
  • The award-winning campaigns and projects showcased the people, partnerships, and research that make an impact.
  • In 2025, UNO claimed eight awards, including in-house marketing team of the year.

  • Silver Award – Digital Advertising: Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence Digital Advertising Campaign
  • Bronze Award – Special Event: OMA x AI Conference
