UNO Mail Services Returns to Campus: See What’s New

June 27, 2025

The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) is pleased to announce that effective June 30, 2025, management of Mail Services and Shipping & Receiving operations will return to the UNO campus. This important transition ensures that the university can better support daily mail distribution, package processing, and delivery services across departments.

As part of this transition, David Varney returns to UNO as the Mail Services Manager. Many on campus will recognize Varney from his previous role supporting UNO mail operations. He will be joined by a dedicated team of UNO route drivers: Brittany Turek, Wayne Harris, and Chuck Browne. Additionally, Kathy Hartle will also return to the UNO campus, where she will be responsible for processing incoming and outgoing mail for campus departments.

Preparations are also underway to reopen the customer service window in the Eppley Administration Building prior to the start of the Fall 2025 semester. This location will serve as a central point for mailing inquiries and departmental support.

Please note: Surplus Property operations will continue to be managed by UNMC through December 31, 2025. Responsibility for these operations is scheduled to transition to UNO beginning January 1, 2026.

Action Required

Campus departments should update their contact information with external mail services and shipping & receiving vendors to reflect the transition back to UNO management. All shipments should now be addressed to: 6203 University Drive N – Dock.

We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to continuing to serve the UNO campus with enhanced service and greater convenience.

UNO Delivery Address to be Updated in Ariba
