The University of Nebraska at Omaha’s Intensive English Program is continuing the Liesl Wanzenried Memorial Scholarship, which honors the legacy of a dedicated advocate for international students. For the 2026 academic year, two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to eligible Intensive English Program students to help cover tuition costs and support their academic goals. Applications are due July 15, 2026, and community members are encouraged to contribute to the scholarship fund to help expand opportunities for future students.
