We monitor and maintain temperatures across campus according to the UNO Building Temperature Policy.
UNO’s Building Temperature Policy advises against space heater use due to energy and safety implications. Space heaters may be used only if specifically approved by the Assistant Director of Maintenance, Operations and Utilities.
Approval ensures that causes of discomfort have been thoroughly investigated and that space heaters, where needed, meet minimum safety standards.
