Comprehensive/Exit Exam: Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC)

The CMHC Comprehensive Exam is the required comprehensive (exit) exam for all clinical mental health students (M.S.).

The CMHC Comprehensive Exam covers the eight common core curriculum areas as defined by CACREP as common-core areas in their Standards for Preparation.

*Students should refer to the Student Handbook for additional important details regarding the CMHC Comprehensive Exam.

The UNO Testing Center administers the CMHC Comprehensive Exam on dates during the year arranged with the UNO Department of Counseling.

IFPS (International Fluid Power Society)

The International Fluid Power Society is the only organization that provides comprehensive technical certification offerings for all professionals in the fluid power and motion control industry.

IFPS certification tests provide an objective, third-party assessment of an individual's skill level. Certifications are portable and recognized industry-wide. Individuals who successfully master a level of competency are issued a credential. To keep pace with changing fluid power and motion control technologies, certifications must be renewed every five years.

Since state-to-state guidelines vary, if a test location near you is currently open, please contact us at 856.424.8998 ext. 110 to schedule your test.

The UNO Testing Center administers the IFPS exams Monday–Friday in the Testing Center Office.

Examinees must register to take the exam through IFPS.

Kryterion

Come prepared! Review the following summary of registration and testing center rules and requirements.

Registration

Register for the exam in your test sponsor’s Webassessor portal. If the exam is “Onsite Proctored,” a testing center will deliver it. You will be prompted to select a testing center and a start date/time for the exam

Confirmation

Once your registration is complete, you will receive an email confirming your scheduled testing date/time, the testing center location, and your Test Taker Authorization Code. You must bring this code with you to the testing center!

Check-In at the Test Center

Bring your identification documents to the front desk of the testing center at least fifteen (15) minutes before your exam is scheduled to start. Tell the staffer at the front desk that you are there to take an exam.

  • Learn what types of identification are required.
  • You must also present the authorization code that was listed in your registration confirmation email.

PAN (is now PSI True Talent)

Pan is a leading provider of web-delivered, high-stakes testing and assessment solutions for major government and corporate clients, including the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and their TSA Screeners and Federal Air Marshalls programs, the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol and ICE programs, OPM Entry Level testing, the FBI, and many others.

The UNO Testing Center administers PAN (PSI True Talent) exams Monday-Friday in the Testing Center Office.

Examinees must register to take the exam through PAN (PSI True Talent).

Praxis (Teacher Certification Exams)

The Praxis Series tests are taken by individuals entering the teaching profession as part of the certification process required by many states and professional licensing organizations.

  • Praxis Core Academic Skills for Educators (Core)
    These tests measure academic skills in reading, writing, and mathematics. They were designed to provide comprehensive assessments that measure the skills and content knowledge of candidates entering teacher preparation programs.
  • Praxis II Subject Assessments
    These tests measure subject-specific content knowledge, as well as general and subject-specific teaching skills, that you need for beginning teaching.

The UNO Testing Center administers Praxis Series Exams Monday–Friday in the Testing Center Office.

Examinees must register to take these exams online. Register online for the Praxis Series Tests.


PSI

PSI has 70 years of experience in providing solutions to federal and state agencies, corporations, professional associations, and certifying bodies worldwide.

The UNO Testing Center administers PSI exams Monday-Friday in the Testing Center Office.

Examinees must register to take the exam through PSI.

Meazure Learning (Formerly Scantron)

Scantron provides testing and training design, development, and delivery services to certification and licensure organizations, corporations, educational institutions, government agencies, and trade and professional associations.

The UNO Testing Center administers Scantron exams Monday-Friday in the Testing Center Office.

Examinees must register to take the exam through Scantron.

SMT Prometric (Formerly ISO-Quality Testing Exams)

SMT has been providing comprehensive exam development and administration services to certification organizations and licensing agencies worldwide since 1995. Currently, more than 60 organizations from a variety of professions trust us to provide client-tailored solutions for their credentialing programs.

The UNO Testing Center administers SMT Prometric computer-based tests Monday – Friday in the Testing Center Office.
