The UNO Libraries are dedicated to making changes to eliminate racism, bigotry, bias, and prejudice. We stand with our Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) colleagues and students, and our UNO International Students during this time of grief, emotional stress, and safety concerns.

The UNO Libraries are dedicated to making changes to eliminate racism, bigotry, bias, and prejudice. We stand ready to provide resources and services to the greater UNO community to combat racism and bias against the AAPI and international student community.
We work in the field of librarianship; a profession that is rooted in education and a calling that supports freedom of access, opportunity, and information. The Dr. C.C. and Mabel L. Criss Library and the KANEKO-UNO Library provide the resources and services in this effort to live the Maverick Spirit of diversity and inclusion.
Libraries and library personnel play a collective role in confronting racism, bigotry, bias, prejudice, ignorance, hatred, and violence within our halls and in the broader Omaha community. Your library is here for you, in person and virtually. You are welcome here!
