We have research guides in a wide variety of topics and subjects to point you toward databases, online sources and articles that specialize in the topic you are researching.
You can also work directly with our Subject Librarians who can help guide you to the right resources for your project.
The MLA Style Manual and Guide to Scholarly Publishing and the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association are available at the First Floor Service Desk, along with other writing and styles guides such as the Chicago Manual of Style, and A Manual for Writers of Research Papers, Theses, and Dissertations (Turabian).
Zotero is a free tool to help you collect and manage citations.
RefWorks is a library-sponsored, web-based bibliography and database manager that allows you to create your personal citation lists by importing references from text files or from the library's research databases.
First time users will need to create an account using a UNO email.
Click here to login to RefWorks Legacy platform. You may create an account in the new platform at any time without affecting your current RefWorks account. The current RefWorks platform will remain available until January 2018.
You may import references from your legacy RefWorks account during your new account set-up, or anytime later from the new account. Importing references into the new platform will not affect your current legacy account.
