Community Applications for Space
The CEC space application process focuses on how the applicant organization or project coincides with stated core values of the CEC. The Building Advisory Committee oversees the multi-stage space application process.
Organizations submitting applications in the future are required to submit a PDF version to the email address firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that all other formats will not be accepted (i.e., Excel, links to cloud sharing files, etc.).
Organizations are required to complete and submit an application for space designed to give the subcommittee insight as to how the applicant’s interest in the space coincides with the values of the CEC.
Community-based organizations (non-profit organizations, community collaborations, government initiatives, etc.) should review and complete the Community Space Application.
UNO-based organizations (e.g., UNO colleges, departments) will be reviewed through a separate process. Please contact Sara Woods, the director, at email@example.com for more information.
*UNO student organizations are no longer able to apply for space through the UNO Space Application. Plans for student organizations will be announced when available.
This phase includes an in-person interview, followed by an in-person interview with the subcommittee and any organizational representative(s).
The Building Advisory Committee sends its recommendations for building residents to UNO’s Senior Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs, who determines what community and UNO entities are to be housed in the building.
