Fellowships for Graduate Students
The School of Criminology and Criminal Justice offers a limited number of fellowships for graduate students. These opportunities include:
The Dr. Ben Steiner Fellowship for Criminal Justice Professionals -- this fellowship awards up to $500 to a graduate student who is currently or previously employed in a criminal justice agency while pursuing his/her graduate education.
The Dennis Roncek Memorial Fellowship -- this fellowship awards up to $700 to a SCCJ graduate student based on scholastic achievement.
Graduate Research and Creativity Award (GRACA) (master's and doctoral students)
Applications for all scholarships and fellowships are due at the same time each year on February 1st.
To Apply
To apply for any of the available scholarships or fellowships, log into MavLink. Under the Financial Aid tab, click Financial Aid Home. Scroll down and click Apply for Scholarships (right side). You will be directed to the UNO Scholarships portal.
