Graduate Student Organization (GSO)
The GSO serves to answer questions regarding the graduate programs, facilitate social functions, and act as a liaison between faculty and students.
The GSO holds regular meetings and is open to all graduate and doctoral students in Criminology and Criminal Justice.

The Association of Black and Brown Students in Criminal Justice (ABBCJ)
ABBCJ is a student-led organization working to achieve equal justice for marginalized communities within the criminal justice system by reimagining it and investing in a better future system through discussion, learning, and action, and highlighting the importance of increasing minority representation in criminal justice career fields. Membership is open to all undergraduates, graduate students, and alumni enrolled in the university, regardless of race, ethnicity, or academic pursuits.

University of Nebraska Omaha Against the Trafficking of Humans (UNOATH)
This is a faculty-led student organization whose mission is to educate our students and staff on the components and correlates of human trafficking. Through guest speakers and meetings, we strive to spread awareness on the signs and the various vulnerable groups within human trafficking.
UNOATH members are provided with opportunities for internships, volunteer opportunities and establish relationships with anti-trafficking organizations.

Alpha Phi Sigma - Eta
The chapter formed in 1971 at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. The society recognizes scholastic excellence by undergraduate and graduate students in criminal justice.
Students interested in applying for membership in Alpha Phi Sigma must be a Criminology and Criminal Justice major or minor, have completed 36 credit hours (including 4 Criminology and Criminal Justice courses), and have a minimum cumulative undergraduate or graduate GPA. of 3.2.

Student Coordinated Community Response Team (CCRT)
The Student CCRT is an organization committed to advocacy, prevention, and education surrounding dating and domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. Their mission is to host events and trainings, foster dialogue, and engage directly with students to better understand their needs. Through collaboration and outreach, they strive to strengthen campus responses to gender-based violence at UNO.
