Dr. Trisha Rhodes is an Instructor in the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice. She received her M.A. and Ph.D. in Criminology and Criminal Justice from UNO. Her research and teaching interests center on policing, research methods, and issues of justice for women and people of color. Her research primarily examines school resource officer roles, identities, policing strategies, and relationships with citizens. Trisha has also investigated police organizational trends related to recruitment, hiring, training of police recruits, and officer wellbeing. Trisha deeply values partnerships with students, colleagues, and community organizations.
