Music Major for a Day

Please join us for a day of classes at the UNO School of Music on Monday, October 13, 2025!

Deadline to register: Wednesday, October 1

Completion of registration by a parent/guardian is required for students to attend.

Cost: Free. Lunch will be provided.

Registration is closed for 2025. Check back next year!

Music Major for Day is open to 11-12 grade students who are considering a major in music. Students will:

· Attend college classes.

· Learn about different music degree options and careers in music.

· Listen to UNO student performances and project demonstrations.

· Take a private lesson (for interested students). Limited spots based on availability.

· Sit in on ensemble rehearsals (for interested students).

Detailed information, including parking information, will be sent to registered students after the October 1 deadline.

Students may be dropped off at the Strauss Performing Arts Center for the day. Parents and teachers are also welcome to attend sessions and classes.
