UNO Bands Conducting Workshop

Hosted by the UNO Bands, the 5th Annual UNO Conducting Workshop will take place on Thursday, June 1, 2023.

8:30am Arrive, introductions, coffee and donuts (Strauss Performing Arts Center)
9:00-11:15am

Conducting session #1

Participants/observers should bring their instrument if possible to play in the ensemble (composed of participants/observers)

11:30am-12:15pm Laban Movement Method session with Dr. Kearney
12:15-1:00pm Lunch (Milo Bail Student Center)
1:00-1:30pm Open forum
1:30-3:30pm Conducting session #2
3:30-4:00pm Closing discussions, Q and A

Registration & Payment

Registering for the Conducting Workshop is easy! Just follow the steps below to complete registration and payment.

It will be wonderful to have you on campus for this event! You may register as a conductor or an observer. Registration for conductors is limited to the first 20 participants. There are an unlimited number of observer spots available.

Lunch for participants will be included in the registration fee. Observers may opt for lunch at an additional cost of $13.
