The UNO Band Conducting Workshop is open to conductors of all levels including teachers, undergraduate/graduate students, community band directors, etc. The ensemble will comprise observers/conducting participants (bring your instrument!), UNO student volunteers, and performers from the Nebraska Wind Symphony.
New this year: conductors will have the opportunity to conduct twice—once in the morning and once in the afternoon. We can accept a maximum of 20 conducting participants and an unlimited number of observers.
A special Undergraduate Conducting Track is being offered at a discounted rate. Students in the Undergraduate Track will receive supplemental private instruction following each conducting experience and a professional development session designed specifically for them.
