The University of Nebraska at Omaha's (UNO) revised general education program, MavEd, is more than a new set of curricular requirements – it’s a collaborative effort to create meaningful coherent learning experiences for every student.
This Fall, faculty and staff can engage with MavEd in several ways:
Sign Up for the MavEd Course (Re)Design Workshop
Design or redesign a MavEd course through the MavEd Course (Re)Design Workshop an 8-week incentivized professional development experience.
Kick off meeting
- Tuesday, Sept. 8, 9-10:30 A.M.
- Friday, Sept. 11, 1-2:30 P.M.
Midpoint meeting
- Monday, Oct. 12, 2-3:30 P.M.
- Tuesday, Oct. 13, 9-10:30 A.M.
