The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi—the nation’s oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines—recently recognized the UNO chapter of Phi Kappa Phi as a Circle of Excellence Platinum Chapter.

The University of Nebraska at Omaha is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Juan Casas, Interim Dean for Graduate Studies as the permanent Dean for Graduate Studies starting July 1, 2023, pending Board of Regents approval.

Each academic program undergoes program review every seven years in accordance with UNO’s academic policies and relevant governing requirements (e.g. Board of Regents, Coordinating Commission for Postsecondary Education, and the Higher Learning Commission).

The Committee will be reviewing courses this year (2022-2023) that satisfy U.S. and Global Diversity requirements, as well as select courses from other areas that that have not previously collected/submitted assessment data.
