A Message from Chancellor Gold on the Chancellor Transition Process
May 31, 2017
President Bounds and I announced plans for two broadly representative groups to assist me in the chancellor transition process.
These teams include UNO faculty, staff and administrators; UNMC faculty, staff and administrators; UNO's Student Regent; and community members who will help ensure a seamless transition.
It's also a chance for me to get to know UNO better and develop relationships. I want to get a full view of the campus and understand the strengths, opportunities and challenges. I also want to understand the organizational structure and responsibilities of UNO's leadership team.
We are moving ahead and will stay true to UNO's metropolitan university mission with your help. And please, even if you are not on the Advisory Council or Team, I want to hear from you about the transition process. We have set up an email address and are welcoming feedback and ideas all the time.
Once again, I look forward to our journey together, and I look forward to hearing from you.
- Jeffrey P. Gold
