The Change of Campus form will serve as a release authorizing the current/home campus to forward student records to the new campus. You must also complete an application for Admissions to the new campus. A Change of Campus form will close your record at your current/home campus and forward your student file to the new University of Nebraska campus you will be applying to.

Students in good standing on any of the four campuses of the University of Nebraska may change campuses by the Change of Campus procedure.

Students must complete the online Change of Campus Request form and Application for Admission. The Change of Campus Request and the Application for Admission must be completed by your "new" campus' published deadlines to establish eligibility for the student and be admitted to the "new" campus.

A student coming to the "new" campus becomes subject to admission procedures, entrance requirements, retention standards, academic policies and degree requirements on the "new" campus and in the "new" college.

Students who have been academically dismissed by one campus within the University system will not be admitted by another campus.
Students with GPA's that are less than 2.0 and who are currently enrolled may be asked to present their final semester grade report before an admission decision will be made.

The online Change of Campus Request form may be accessed here.

Important Change of Campus Information

  1. You are required to complete an application for Admissions to the new campus. Check with the new campus Office of Admissions regarding any additional admissions requirements.
  2. An application fee is not required for undergraduate students.
  3. Approval of the Change of Campus does not guarantee admission to the new campus.
  4. The new campus will be responsible for the awarding and distributing of federal financial aid. Most institutional scholarships will not transfer to the new school. The exception would be the Regents and Nebraska Career Scholarship however transferability is not guaranteed and will be evaluated on a case by case basis once a Change of Campus form is submitted. Be sure to add the new school code to your Free Application for Federal Student Aid.
