Sierra Roseby Earns Board of Regents Kudos Award

At their August meeting, the University of Nebraska (NU) System Board of Regents presented Sierra Roseby, associate director of the Office of Student Leadership and Involvement (SLI) at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO), with a Kudos Award for her dedication to student success, collaborative spirit, and commitment to supporting Mavericks.
Cornelius Levering, outreach coordinator for SLI, said that "Sierra's work plays a crucial role in supporting the success of students — not only during their time at the university, but also after they become alumni. She consistently goes above and beyond her assigned duties, taking on additional responsibilities to ensure that both the university and the office remain well-positioned to fulfill their goals."
Roseby’s commitment to students is matched by her dedication to building strong, lasting relationships across campus and beyond.
Levering said that "as a leader in teamwork and relationship-building, Sierra cultivates meaningful connections that enhance our collective efforts and expand opportunities for growth."
Her collaborative approach strengthens the campus community and opens new avenues for meaningful partnership.
“She exemplifies the true Maverick spirit — demonstrating strength, resilience, curiosity, and independent thinking in all that she does. Sierra's passion and drive serve as an inspiration to those around her, reinforcing the excellence and innovation that defines UNO,” Levering added.
In presenting the Board of Regents KUDOS award to Roseby, UNO Student Body President/Regent Drew Leisy thanked Roseby for her dedication to UNO.
