Omaha Mavericks Earn Summit League Academic Honors
203 Mavericks recently earned Summit League Academic Honor Roll status, and 94 Mavericks were named to the Summit League Commissioner’s List of Academic Excellence.

In addition to success on the ice, the court, the field, the pitch, the track, the pool, and the green, the Omaha Mavericks are earning high marks in the classroom, scoring two recent honors from the Summit League.
203 Mavericks Earn Summit League Academic Honor Roll Status
From OMavs.com — 203 Omaha student-athletes combined to earn 214 selections on the 2024-25 Summit League Academic Honor Roll.
To qualify for the Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must have recorded at least a 3.2 cumulative grade-point average, on a 4.0 scale, for the year awarded. Omaha's total number of student-athletes ranked fourth in the conference.
A total of 1,942 student-athletes earned the recognition across the Summit League's nine full-time member institutions and six associate members across 17 sports.
Baseball led all Maverick men's teams with 27 student-athletes honored. Women's swimming and diving and women's track and field each placed 27 student-athletes on the Academic Honor Roll to led Omaha women's sport programs.

94 Mavericks Named to Summit League Commissioner’s List of Academic Excellence
From OMavs.com — 94 Omaha student-athletes were named to the 2024-25 Summit League Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence Wednesday, totaling 98 selections.
Summit League student-athletes must carry 3.50 or better cumulative grade point average (GPA), have used a year of eligibility and completed three full semesters or five quarters at the nominating institution to qualify for the Commissioner's List.
25 Mavericks earned the honor with distinction with a GPA of 3.9 or higher.
Omaha men's soccer and women's tennis were named Team Academic Achievement Award recipients with the programs finishing the 2024-25 academic years with team GPAs of 3.419 and 3.669, respectively. The Summit League awards Team Academic Achievement honors for each sport based on the percentage of list-eligible student-athletes on the Commissioner's List.
