UNO Chancellor Joanne Li, Ph.D., CFA, recently led a campus tour featured on KMTV’s Morning Lift, where she highlighted the university’s significant initiatives and accomplishments. During the segment, Chancellor Li discussed UNO's state-of-the-art Boeing 737 simulator at the Aviation Institute and the university’s strategic partnerships with major airlines.

Li addressed efforts to combat the teacher shortage in Nebraska and the expansion of the Peter Kiewit Institute to meet the growing demand for engineers and IT professionals. She also emphasized UNO's pioneering role in offering a bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence and the university's nationally recognized Biomechanics Department, which has made significant advancements in child prosthetic care and cardiovascular research.
