Flags Lowered to Honor Uvalde Shooting Victims
Following a proclamation from President Joe Biden, all U.S., Nebraska, and University flags will be lowered to half-staff through May 28, 2022.

On Tuesday, May 24, U.S. President Joe Biden issued a proclamation that all flags are to be lowered to half-staff to honor and recognize the victims of the mass shooting that took place at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas earlier that day.
All U.S, Nebraska, and University flags will be lowered on the UNO campus through sunset on Saturday, May 28, 2022 to honor the victims.

On Wednesday, May 25, UNO Chancellor Joanne Li, Ph.D., CFA, shared her condolences following the tragedy:
