Flag Lowering for Leatha Davis
The UNO flag will be lowered today in remembrance of UNO retiree Leatha Davis, who passed away on Jan. 12 at the age of 81.

The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) flag will be lowered on Tuesday, March 2, in memory of UNO retiree Leatha Davis.
Leatha passed away on Jan. 12 at the age of 81.
Joining UNO in 1980 and working as a member of the Food Services team until her retirement in 2009, Leatha worked with many staff, students, and faculty during her 29 years of service.
She is survived by her children: Gloria Suarez, William Ward, Roy Ward, Carmela Ward, and Robin Young; as well as a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The thoughts and condolences of the university community are with Leatha's loved ones during this time.
