Linda Loftus is an instructor in the Intensive Language Program at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (ILUNO). She served eight years in the United States Army from 1985 - 1993, where she served two years of active duty in Germany and the remaining years in the Military Intelligence field as a reservist. She earned both her bachelor and master degree in English at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and has earned her TESOL certification from American TESOL Institute (ATI). Ms. Loftus has over seventeen years of teaching at local colleges; she currently teaches in the Upper Intermediate / Lower Advanced level classes in ILUNO, as well as a Service Learning elective course. She is an avid volunteer in the community advocating for organizations like Habitat for Humanity, Siena Francis House and the Open Door Mission.
