Michaela Benson-Goldsmith, Ph.D., is Grants Program Manager for the Victimology and Victim Studies Research Lab (VVSRL) in the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Dr. Benson-Goldsmith teaches classes on domestic violence, child abuse and neglect, and criminology. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a focus on victimology and juvenile justice.
Her research interests include intervention and prevention of child abuse and neglect and family violence, victim services experiences and improvement, and the overlap between juvenile justice and child welfare involvement.
