Brenda J. Beadle, J.D., is the Chief Deputy for the Douglas County Attorney's Office in Omaha. She has over 30 years for prosecutorial experience.

Ms. Beadle has participated in many high-profile capital cases in Douglas County. She has prosecuted over 100 jury trials including two quadruple murder cases. She has also been involved in the prosecution of three "no body" homicides and has prosecuted one of the oldest cold cases in the state.

Ms. Beadle was appointed by Governor Heineman in 2014 and currently re-appointed by Governor Pillen to serve on the Nebraska Crime Commission. She has served as President of the Nebraska County Attorney's Association and is a certified legal instructor by the Nebraska Commission of Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice. She has served on the Lasting Hope Recovery Center Continuum of Care Subcommittee, Child Death Protocol Committee, Symposium of Mental Health in the Criminal Justice System, Domestic Violence Coordinating Committee, the Safe Haven Law Collaboration Committee, and is a member of the Metro Chiefs Association. She is an adjunct professor at Creighton University School of Law as well as a past instructor at Metro Community College. She has also participated in the FBI CAST Certification Training.

Ms. Beadle was inducted into the American College of Trial Lawyers and is the recipient of several service awards including the Kids First Award from Project Harmony, Tribute to Women Award from the Women's Center for Advancement, Nebraska Association of County Officials Award for distinguished leadership and service, and Law Enforcement Award for Advancing Justice Cooperation in Nebraska.
