Biography
Abigail Allman is a first-year PhD student in Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She works as a teaching and research assistant for Dr. Sam Clinkinbeard. Abigail earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Northern Colorado. As an undergraduate, she presented a research project titled "Mass Shooter Characteristics and the South Region of the United States" at Research Day, where she was recognized as a 2023 Research Excellence Award Finalist. During her master’s program, she worked as a volunteer research assistant interviewing police officers in Colorado, a project that is under consideration for publication. She also volunteered and presented a research proposal at the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences Denver, CO Conference 2025.
