Abigail A. Hayes is a doctoral student in the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She completed her Masters of Professional Studies at Fort Hays State University in Criminology as well as her Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice. Her research focuses on incarceration and reentry, criminological theory, gangs, and solitary confinement.
