The Weitz Innovation and Excellence Fund is open for a new round of applications through NuRamp. This initiative seeks to inspire faculty and staff to develop and implement new ideas that will propel the campus from good to great.

All faculty and staff are eligible to submit proposals through NuRamp. The fund supports projects that advance institutional priorities, encourage collaboration, and address meaningful needs across campus.

Proposals are reviewed by a campus advisory committee, which evaluates submissions based on several key factors, including alignment with institutional priorities, the strength of intercampus or interdisciplinary connections, the significance of the need being addressed, and the overall feasibility and likelihood of success.

Detailed information about the proposal process, eligibility, evaluation criteria, and timelines is available on the Academic Affairs Initiatives website.

Applications are due January 16, 2026.
