Greetings, Fellow Mavericks! It is a pleasure to have the opportunity to introduce myself to you, my name is Dalton Meister and I will be running for College of Public Affairs and Community Service (CPACS) Senator for the 2019-2020 term! I have already had the pleasure of serving on UNO’s Student Government once during the 2018-2019 term and, with your support, I hope to have that same pleasure again during the 2019-2020 term. On Student Government (SG-UNO) this past year, I served a member of both the Academic Excellence Committee and as a member of the Rules Committee. I have had the opportunity to develop many amazing projects alongside my peers in the Student Senate, such as when I authored a series of constitutional resolutions, co-developed weekly Student Senator office hours in the CPACS Dean's Office with a fellow Student Senator, and when I met with several State Senators to advocate for their support of the upcoming NU Biennial Budget as part of the NU Advocates Campaign. I am excited to begin this journey alongside all of you, the students of UNO, and I would encourage you to reach out to me if you would be willing to support my effort. The SG-UNO Elections will be on March 13th, so please don't forget to vote! Go Mavs!Connect with Me
