The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) flag will be lowered on Oct. 2 in memory of Doris Alloy, who recently passed away. The thoughts and condolences of the university community are with Doris' loved ones during this time.
About Doris
Doris was a secretary in biology. She began her career at UNO on Feb. 7, 1967, and retired on Aug. 1, 1995.
She is survived by her children, Wendy (Todd) Manvitz and Shelly Fox; grandchildren, Alissa (Matt) Arbeiter, Diana (Jason) Williams, David Manvitz, and Naomi Fox (Andrew Boehm); great-grandchildren, Addison and Jackson Williams, and Juliette, Dalia, and Ruby Boehm; sisters, Esther Bogdanoff and Shirley Goodman; and brother, Don (Karen) Noodell.
