The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) flag will be lowered on Jan. 23 in memory of emeritus retiree Jim Dick who recently passed away. The thoughts and condolences of the university community are with Jim’s loved ones during this time.

About Jim

Jim was a professor in Teacher Education in the College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences (CEHHS). He began his career at UNO on Aug. 22, 1977. He retired on Sept. 1, 2011.

Jim is survived by his son, Jeremy; daughter-in-law, Jennifer; granddaughters, Kennedy and Madison; nephews, Benjamin Shively and Matthew Shively.
