Flag Lowering for Marsha Kruger

The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) flag will be lowered on Oct. 22 in memory of emeritus retiree Marsha Kruger, who recently passed away. The thoughts and condolences of the university community are with Marsha’s loved ones during this time.

About Marsha

Marsha was an emertius lecturer in English. She began her career at UNO on Jan. 12, 1981, and retired on Sept. 1, 2021. Read a statement from the UNO Department of English.

She is survived by her long time significant other, George Lesser, her brother, Douglas Fencl, her former husband John Kruger, and their son, Michael Kruger.
