The following is an email from University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) Director of Federal & Military Relations Chase Kratochvil to UNO faculty and staff:
Colleagues,
The Office of Military and Veteran Services is working to strengthen UNO’s military-connected community, and we need your help.
This fall, we are reaching out to identify faculty and staff who are currently serving, have served, or are part of a military family.
If that’s you, we’d be grateful if you’d consider voluntarily sharing your information through the brief survey linked below.
This effort will help us:
- Keep you informed about military-related events, resources, and initiatives
- Create opportunities for mentorship and student support
- Recognize the contributions of military-connected employees
- Build a stronger, more visible network across campus
By sharing your connection, you’ll help create a more supportive experience for our military-connected students and ensure that UNO continues to be a campus where service is honored and supported.
In the spirit of connection, I would also like to extend an invitation to faculty and staff who are currently serving or who have previously served in the military to a pair of upcoming events:
🏒 Omaha Hockey Military Appreciation Game vs. Air Force
- Friday, Oct. 3, at 7:07 P.M., at Baxter Arena.
- Visit the Omaha Athletics Ticketmaster page and enter promo code “MILITARY” in the designated field to receive up to four free tickets to the game.
🇺🇸 UNO Staff/Faculty Veterans Day Lunch
- Tuesday, Nov. 11 from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. in the Milo Bail Student Center Nebraska Room.
- Attendees may come and go as they please.
- Confirm your RSVP by Oct. 30.
Thank you for all you do to serve our university and our community.
Regards,
Chase Kratochvil
