The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) flag will be lowered on Sept. 22 in memory of UNO emeritus retiree Dale Stover, who recently passed away. The thoughts and condolences of the university community are with Dale’s loved ones during this time.

About Dale

Dale began his career at UNO in 1968 and retired in 2007 as a professor in philosophy and religion.

Dale is survived by his three children Dawn (Jay Letto), Nathan (Deanna), and Drew (Kim); his six grandchildren Benjamin (Sydney), Mariah (Shay Ioerger), Luke, Finn, Wyatt, and Leo; and many beloved nieces, nephews, friends, colleagues, and former students. He enjoyed family reunions and travels with his children and grandchildren, and he shared with them a love of hiking, camping, nature, and reading.
