Caysee Bellman is Associate Director of New Student and Family Programs.

Caysee Bellman, Associate Director of New Student and Family Programs at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO), has been named UNO's Employee of the Month for May 2025. She was praised for her dedication to creating meaningful, high-impact experiences for students and families through thoughtful planning, collaboration, and leadership.

One nominator said, "Caysee is a driving force behind our campus visit experiences, new student onboarding, and all of our large-scale recruitment events, ensuring that every prospective and incoming student feels welcomed, supported, and excited about becoming a Maverick. She consistently exceeds expectations by delivering high-quality, seamless, and engaging programs that leave a lasting impression on students and families. Caysee doesn’t just manage events; she curates experiences, ensuring that every detail is thoughtfully executed."

Her colleagues also noted her strong problem-solving skills and her ability to bring people together across departments.

"She consistently goes above and beyond through her attitude and actions. If something is missing, needs refining, or could simply be improved, she doesn’t wait – she steps in and takes care of it. She coordinates seamlessly with departments and campus partners, each with unique needs and priorities, all while keeping students at the center and ensuring institutional processes are followed. Her communication style is professional, warm, and effective, creating a sense of shared purpose among teams."

For being named as Employee of the Month, Bellman received a certificate, a hot/cold tumbler provided by the Maverick Store (formerly the UNO Bookstore), a monetary award, two tickets to a UNO sporting event, and use of a designated parking space.
