Jesse Krause is an A/V Specialist at Baxter Arena.

Jesse Krause, A/V Specialist at the University of Nebraska at Omaha's (UNO) Baxter Arena, has been named UNO's Employee of the Month for September 2024. Krause was praised for his leadership, adaptability, and commitment to delivering high-quality results.

One nominator said that "Working with technology is not for the faint of heart especially with how much equipment is inside Baxter Arena. He (Krause) continues to improve efficiencies within the department, lead part-time staff as an approachable and understanding scheduler, and he pulls off amazing results."

Krause's poise under pressure and calm demeanor help him adapt to last-minute changes.

"Jesse has had a lot to learn in terms of our equipment but he really seems to know how to guide clients to options that suite their event well and ensure that the sound and look are top notch. Jesse and his team have devoted a lot of time to fixing, cleaning, and maintaining our equipment over the summer taking a proactive approach which is extremely valuable."

For being named as Employee of the Month, Krause received a certificate, a hot/cold tumbler provided by the Maverick Store (formerly the UNO Bookstore), a monetary award, two tickets to a UNO sporting event, and use of a designated parking space.
