Rich Klein, Ph.D., Vice Chancellor of Institutional Effectiveness and Student Success, spoke at the summit.

On July 25, the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) hosted inaugural Nebraska Salesforce Summit at the Barbara Weitz Community Engagement Center (CEC).

The summit brought together technical and functional leaders in higher education to discuss Salesforce tools and opportunities to collaborate and connect for overall student success. More than 60 attendees from public and private schools attended the event, which served to create a network of Salesforce users in the higher education space in the state of Nebraska.

Leaders from Salesforce attended to help facilitate portions of the program, including Tom Green, Ph.D., who serves as the Director of Strategic Enrollment Management and an industry advisor.

The program highlighted a series of table topic conversations that were led by campus leaders from UNO, UNL, UNK, College of St. Mary, and Creighton. These topics included: data management, reporting, governance, recruitment, retention, marketing, and communication.

UNO is committed to playing a pivotal role in shaping the best use of Salesforce and integrated student success technologies in the state of Nebraska and beyond.
