UNO Names Percilla Rodarte Employee of the Month, March 2024

Percilla Rodarte, Custodian for UNO Custodial Services, has been named UNO’s Employee of the Month for March 2024. Rodarte was praised for the kindness and concern she extends to others, as well as her attention to detail.

One nominator said that "Percilla has performed her work above and beyond expectations since she first started (at Mammel Hall) in 2010. Her work is completed thoroughly, with great care and a positive attitude. Her outstanding work ethic and commitment to the institution have significantly contributed to a positive and well-maintained work environment. She takes the time to build positive relationships across the college and demonstrates exceptional interpersonal and communication skills."

Rodarte works diligently to meet the specific needs of the spaces in which she works.

“I can think of no one who takes as much pride in the building as Percilla does; the way she makes sure each crumb is vacuumed and each window streak is removed would make one think this is her personal home. She brightens Mammel Hall with her smile, banter, and warmth. When I arrive in the morning, she has already been up and working for hours, but that does not stop her from being friendly and kind.”

For being named as Employee of the Month, Rodarte will receive a certificate, a hot/cold tumbler provided by the UNO Bookstore, a monetary award, two tickets to a UNO sporting event, and use of a designated parking space.
