On Friday, Jan. 26, students at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) started their day with a sweet treat courtesy of University of Nebraska (NU) System Interim President Chris Kabourek. Kabourek surprised all four NU campuses with donuts to celebrate the conclusion of their first week of spring semester classes. Starting at 7:30 A.M., Mavericks chose their pick from a variety of delicious options. Thanks to the thoughtful initiative of Interim President Kabourek, the university not only provided a tasty start to the day but also fostered a sense of community spirit. The event added even more excitement to Durango Days Part 2, the spring edition of UNO’s official welcome week.
