At their September 2022 meeting, the University of Nebraska Board of Regents approved academic calendars for 2023-2024 and 2024-2025.
The approved calendars will feature 15-week fall and spring instructional periods as well as a January term (also referred to as a "J Term" or "January Session") ahead of each spring semester.
In addition, UNO has initiated the removal of the "Study Days" that had been included as part of Prep Week since Fall 2021, effective with the Fall 2022 semester.
The decision was made at the campus level following feedback from campus constituency groups through Faculty Senate and Student Government.
Official dates and details are available on the UNO Registrar site.
The Spring 2023 class schedule will also be available on the Registrar's site after Oct. 7.
