Flag Lowering for Daniel Stoysich
The UNO flag will be lowered on Tuesday, Aug. 2, in memory of Daniel Stoysich, a retired staff member who worked for UNO's telecommunications team.

The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) flag will be lowered on Tuesday, Aug. 2, in memory of retiree Daniel Stoysich.
Daniel passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at the age of 75.
Joining UNO in 2001, Daniel, a Navy veteran, worked as a member of the telecommunications and IT teams until his retirement in 2012.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, James and Genevieve Stoysich; and son, Gregory Stoysich.
He is survived by wife, Cindy; children, Erin Bonham and Nicholas Stoysich; grandchildren, Madison, Zander, Daxton and Kyren; brother, Claude Stoysich; and sister, Annette Wilson.
The thoughts and condolences of the university community are with Daniel's loved ones during this time.
