Flag Lowering for Robert Simpson
The UNO flag will be lowered today in memory of Simpson, who passed away on March 17, 2021, at the age of 94.

The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) flag will be lowered on Friday, April 2, in memory of Robert Simpson, Ph.D., who passed away on March 17, 2021 at the age of 94.
Robert served as a faculty member in the Department of Sociology for 24 years, joining UNO shortly after it became a part of the University of Nebraska system and retiring in 1993.
The thoughts and condolences of the university community are with Robert’s loved ones during this time.
