Welcome! The Milo Bail Student Center is the perfect place to host your event. From small meetings and luncheons to large conferences and wedding reception and everything in between we can handle it and assist with logistics to make it happen!

The goal of the Milo Bail Student Center Reservations and Catering staff is to make your event a special and stress free celebration for you, your family, and your guests. Our experienced consultants are available to help you plan your special event. On the day of your event, our friendly professional staff will be there to assist you every step of the way.

With a full dinner menu, your china, linens and flatware are included. Plus, we provide a friendly, attentive wait staff.

Room Options

All of our spaces are rented at a flat hourly rate and most of our spaces can have customized set ups specific to your event. The hourly rate includes tables, chairs, in house A/V, staging, backdrops, podiums, tension barriers, coat racks, sign holders, yard games, and other items upon request. If we have it you are typically able to utilize it if booked in advance. We will also handle all set up and tear down besides any items brought from outside the facility.

*Any rentals requiring payment must have full payment submitted at least 14 days prior to the event date. Large events may be subject to deposits upon booking of the space.

All rentals are subject to supplemental charges
Use of space outside normal building operating hours will be charged additional per hour: $100 Non-UNO orgs., $50 UNO Departments, $25 UNO Student Orgs.
If more space than contracted is used without approval
If space is used outside the contracted time slot without approval
Any damages or special set up/tear down needs
Non-UNO entities must provide certificate of insurance
Parking needs must be handled through Parking Services
If security is required that cost will be the responsibility of the individual/organization booking the space

We do have a Fronting Policy in place that if violated will result in the organization being charged the full rate and may lose reservation privileges.

Ballroom

The Ballroom is our biggest room that has plenty of space for larger events but with its custom lighting and ceiling height it provides an intimate and elegant atmosphere.

The Ballroom has the ability to be divided into three (3) separate rooms (Ballroom, Nebraska Room, & Aksarben Room) that can either be rented all as one or individually based on your event needs.

Chancellor's Room

The Chancellor's Room is a medium-sized space that has a more high end trim, preset furniture specific to this room, and a glass wall with a view to the north.

This space has a separate room in the back of the room that works great for any staging needs or to put catering so you do not need to sacrifice any event space.

Dodge Room

The Dodge Room is another room that has the ability to be split into multiple rooms (Dodge A & B). This room can be split in half with a wall divider providing the ability to rent the room as a whole or in halves based on event needs.
