Air+Care
When studying abroad, there are many upfront costs that can be a challenge to meet. Air+Care is a service offered by UNO Education Abroad to reduce upfront costs for students.
Air+Care students will meet with an advisor in UNO Education Abroad who will help them book their flight through the university's travel agency. International health insurance and flight costs will be charged directly to the student's bill in MavLINK. The Air+Care program allows for payment of these travel and insurance expenses to be deferred until financial aid is disbursed.
The cost of the flights and insurance plan + $50 increase to the standard Education Abroad Admin Cost.
Every student planning to study abroad or away will need to book flights and purchase insurance. Air+Care allows them to have additional support making those arrangements and delays payment until their student bill is due and after aid is disbursed. Air+Care is a completely optional service.
