MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Assessment)

The MBTI assessment is the most widely used personality assessment in the world. With a proven record of reliability spanning more than 50 years, it offers a foundation for understanding individual differences and applying that understanding to the ways people think, communicate, and interact. Versatile and dependable, the MBTI tool sets the stage for lifelong learning and development.

The MBTI assessment is used to develop individuals, teams, and organizations to meet today’s challenges in such areas as communication, team building, leadership, and career management.

The UNO Testing Center helps facilitate the administration of an online MBTI when a referral from the Academic and Career Development Center (ACDC) is forwarded to the Testing Center in accordance with this protocol. To contact ACDC, please call 402.554.3672 or email unoacdc@unomaha.edu.

Walk-In Assessment Protocol

The following will be the protocol to follow when a walk-in contacts ACDC for an assessment. (Any walk-in will be directed to ACDC to begin this process.)

1. ACDC will complete the Individual Assessment Log and forward either a hard copy or an electronic copy to the UNO Testing Center.

2. ACDC will send the individual to the UNO Testing Center to pay for the assessment(s) noted on the Individual Assessment Log.

3. UNO Testing Center will provide either a hard copy or an electronic copy of an Instruction Sheet (for each assessment) with the URL included to access and complete the assessment.

4. Each Instruction Sheet will direct the individual to contact ACDC to schedule an appointment to review the results after completing the assessment.
